Hi, I’m Sharna – and welcome to Sweet Retreat NZ!

I’ve been passionate about cake making since I was old enough to lick the spoon. What started as a hobby blended with my love of art and grew into Sweet Retreat NZ – a one-of-a-kind cake and party business based in Riverhead, Auckland.

As a mum of three and a professional cake designer for over 5 years, I’ve built a reputation for creating beautiful, delicious cakes from my A-graded kitchen (6 years running!).

But we’re more than just cakes! I run fun decorating classes for all ages, sharing tips, tricks, and creativity. And after juggling my own kids’ parties, I knew parents needed an easier way to plan – so we added bouncy castle hire, catering, and our epic Food Fiesta grazing tables.
